Elisa Cox is motivated by the maximum growth and development of others with a strong desire to lead teams for the benefit of the community. She is constantly bringing people together to share ideas and to collaborate, supporting new thoughts and ideas along with new or evolving procedures and systems. Elisa has also been a driver of active community engagement throughout her career - she earned her MBA with an emphasis in Marketing, specifically so she could improve communications between residents and their governments. Today, as the Assistant City Manager and City Manager Appointee for the City Rancho Cucamonga, she works with all departments on cross-departmental collaborations with a deep commitment to equity and inclusion. She is a champion for Team RC - the City’s organizational development initiative emphasizing personal and professional growth - and Healthy RC which takes a comprehensive and grass-roots approach to developing a wide range of programs, policies, infrastructure, and events to continue to build a sustainable, healthy, and equitable community. When not in City Hall, you can find Elisa either traveling, largely as part of her role as the West Coast Regional Vice President for ICMA or engaged in yet another DIY home renovation with her husband, Brian, as Kasey and Cody, their shepherd-mix pups, diligently supervise from underfoot.
