Maureen Tobin is an experienced, thoughtful leader with a rare blend of sharp analytical thinking and intuitive judgment. Across a 40+ year career spanning healthcare financial management, medical transportation, education, and local government she has built teams and delivered results within the real constraints of lean nonprofit and public agency budgets. She most recently served as Executive Director of the Davenport Institute for Public Engagement and Civic Leadership at Pepperdine University, where she now serves on its Advisory Council. Known for reinventing herself throughout her career while building on a deepening toolbox of skills, she brings high energy and business acumen paired with earthy warmth. Since entering retirement in January 2026, she continues with select consulting, executive coaching, speaking, and moderating engagements while dedicating more time to writing, creative pursuits, and family. She lives in Morgan Hill, California.
