Johncito “John” Peraza serves as Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Moreno Valley, California. His local government career includes service with the Cities of Buena Park, Commerce, Cudahy, and Moreno Valley, where he has held positions spanning community services, communications, legislative affairs, and strategic planning. He has also served as Community Development and Grants Director in the U.S. House of Representatives. His background includes city management, public policy, legislative affairs, communications, and intergovernmental relations.

John serves on the League of California Cities’ Transportation, Communications, and Public Works Policy Committee and on ICMA’s Welcome Ambassadors Committee. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Wayland Baptist University and holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Arizona. Outside of work, John enjoys running, traveling, and volunteering through Lions Clubs International.
