Jennifer Dempsey is an experienced communications strategist with two decades of experience organizing on behalf of clients throughout California for better neighborhoods -- providing communications strategy and developing effective communications approaches for scores of public entities throughout California.

The Senior Consultant at The Lew Edwards Group (LEG), Jennifer has served as a strategy and media consultant and executive staff to non-profit clients and is a veteran of successful local, state and federal campaigns providing expertise in coalition building, training, and organizational development to LEG’s clients, including expertise on evolving communications, social media, paid digital, and rapid response media in a 24/7 environment.

LEG clients represented by Jennifer include a broad cross-section of public entity clients including local and county governments, special districts, K-14 public school districts, and community coalitions/non-profit organizations such as Sacramento Kids First, Oakland Education Association, Oakland Museum of California, Chabot Space & Science Center, and Children’s Fairyland.

A Bay Area native, Jennifer and her family reside in San Francisco where she leads an organization that works to empower and uplift women in local politics and government.
