We empower government agencies through strategic communication that works.
Hi there, we are JPW.
We imagine a world where communities and local government understand each other and work together for the greater good.
And we work tirelessly to make that happen through memorable marketing, communication and outreach campaigns.
We create an exceptional experience for each client by providing creative strategies to meet their agency’s specific needs.
-
We believe every situation is unique. That's why we approach our work with curiosity and creativity.
-
We were created by former in-house government communicators, so we know your world from the inside out. We do this work passionately because we know it makes a difference.
-
We invest deeply in our employees because we believe they are the heart and soul of our company. We also know this investment is reflected directly in the quality of our work.
Our clients inspire us. We’re proud to tell their stories.

Notes from our blog

Funding (noun): money provided for a particular purpose. Also known for causing anxiety during project planning.
In this age when new information is available instantaneously, navigating the landscape of misinformation and disinformation is a formidable challenge. Social media does not help either.
We invite our clients and friends to complete a survey so we can continually improve our communication services for government client
Communicating about rate adjustments can be a challenge, because let’s face it, no one wants to pay more for anything, let alone utility services that can be taken for granted.
In preparation for the new year, JPW spent the last several months meeting with local government leaders from cities, counties, ports and water agencies around the state to learn more about what’s keeping them up at night. Our aim was to understand these emerging issues so we can provide our clients with strategic and creative solutions that work.
JPW Communications is thrilled to announce that several of its clients were recognized for outstanding work in communications and public outreach at yesterday’s EPIC Awards ceremony hosted by the California Association of Public Information Officials (CAPIO) in Monterey.
With the $1 trillion influx of infrastructure funding heading to communities across the country, communications and community engagement professionals will soon be working collaboratively with Capital Improvement Project (CIP) teams on everything from roads, railways, ports and bridges to broadband internet installation, accessibility projects and water quality improvement programs.
