Brandon Johansen is an Emmy award-winning communications professional who creates videos and content that highlight the work being done by the City of Fresno and the various departments within. As an assistant communications director, Brandon also works directly with the media, writes press releases and organizes press events, helps run social media channels, and more.

Born and raised in Fresno County, Brandon worked in television news prior to working for the City. After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, Brandon spent six years working as a television journalist in Bakersfield and Fresno and co-created two documentaries during his tenure.
