This session will explore the South Coast Water District’s (‘SCWD’ or ‘the district’) branding journey, focusing on how the district achieved visual synergy across three distinct initiatives: the SCWD parent brand, and two brand extensions - the Doheny Ocean Desalination Project (a district capital project), and the Dana Hills Tennis Center (a public facility owned by the district). Attendees will learn how SCWD successfully refreshed its existing logo, balancing modernization with brand recognition and integrated the two brand extensions. The speaker will provide insights into the decision-making process behind creating a unified color palette and design approach that extends seamlessly across the district’s initiatives. Attendees will walk away with practical strategies for executing a brand refresh and creating brand extensions across multiple initiatives i.e. projects and facilities, while maintaining visual synergy across all platforms.
