Public service agencies often face the challenge of reaching diverse populations with distinct cultural, linguistic, and community needs. This session will provide participants with strategies for adapting and replicating successful community programs to serve different demographic groups effectively. Using the DA Citizens’ Academy and El Buen Vecino as case studies, participants will explore best practices for tailoring programs to reflect the unique characteristics of various communities, focusing on accessibility and inclusivity. By the end of this session, participants will be able to identify the core elements of successful programs that can be adapted for diverse audiences, develop strategies for culturally relevant modifications, and design flexible frameworks that honor community-specific needs. They will also learn to evaluate and measure the success of adapted programs, ensuring they remain impactful and responsive to community needs.
