Isaac Etchamendy is the Director of Development Services for the City of San Marcos, where he leads the city's efforts in shaping its rapidly expanding built environment.
He has more than 15 years of experience managing large-scale, complex development projects. Isaac currently oversees a $200 million capital improvement program and a pipeline of over 2500 residential units. Prior to his current role, Isaac was the project manager of numerous infrastructure projects delivering parks, roads and bridges for the public. Throughout his career, he has championed a collaborative approach rooted in authentic communication, driving partnerships that lead to innovative and sustainable outcomes.
Isaac holds a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California.
