Scott Sedgley, a lifelong Napa resident, has served as Mayor since 2020 after two terms on the City Council. His career includes 32 years with the Napa Fire Department, where he retired as a Truck Captain and served as a public information officer for both Napa Fire and CalFire Overhead Team 5.

Scott is an active community leader, serving on local boards including the Napa Valley Transportation Authority, LAFCO, and the Napa-Vallejo Waste Management Authority. He also served on the City's Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission and on the board of the Napa Valley Unified School District. A dedicated local historian, he has volunteered as a docent at Bale Grist Mill for over 30 years and serves on the Historical Society board.
