As San José Clean Energy’s (City of San José) Equity and Engagement Programs Specialist, Saraí liaises with community partners and innovates ways to engage diverse audiences. She helps ensure that energy programs are designed to reach and uplift priority communities. Saraí is a native Spanish speaker and brings four years of experience on SJCE’s marketing team. Her work has been recognized by the Institute for Local Government and the California Community Choice Association. She received her bachelor’s in environmental studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and is currently pursuing her master’s of public administration (sustainability focus) at Middlebury Institute of International Studies.
