Drawing from CAL FIRE’s statewide movement building initiative to redefine California’s relationship with wildfire, this session will walk you through how to translate big-picture movement building principles into local action. You’ll learn how to build on what you’re already doing to mobilize and activate a movement of organizations and individuals committed to creating positive, sustainable change. And you’ll hear from our very own Christine Brainerd, Communications Director for the City of Folsom and how she is activating her community through CAL FIRE resources. You’ll leave with specific ideas and a renewed sense of what’s possible when communication becomes collaboration.
