Jenn Starnes has over 30 years of experience in communications, with a strong passion for government service and making silly social media videos. She is the Communications & Economic Development Manager for the Town of Danville. Originally from the Central Valley, she spent more than two decades in Orange County before relocating to the Bay Area in 2022. Prior to joining Danville, she held a division manager role with the City of Irvine, where she managed arts and engagement programs for the recreation department, including facility reservations, marketing, contract class programs, recreation software systems, and a municipal arts program spanning three facilities. She has also served as PIO for the Great Park, a mixed-use public/private development in Irvine, and was an adjunct professor for Chapman University.

She spends her down time scrolling TikTok, knitting, and dreaming of creating a burner account to correct trolls in the comments of Town posts.
