Amanda Durbin is the Communications Officer for the City of Mountain House. She leads citywide communications, digital strategy, media relations, and community engagement during a time of major growth and change. She has managed a city incorporation, brand launch, website redesign, crisis communications, and high-engagement social media platforms.

Amanda is passionate about transparency, trust, and meeting people where they are. She believes the comment section is not something to fear, but a space to listen, learn, and build stronger relationships with the community. Through real examples and honest storytelling, she helps public agencies turn online conversations into opportunities for connection.

She holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Public Relations. Amanda has received multiple CalSPRA awards for her work in public sector communications. She brings heart, strategy, and clarity to everything she does.
