Amy Ventetuolo is the Communications and Engagement Director for the City of Carlsbad, where she leads the city’s strategic communication efforts. With over 20 years of experience in strategic communications and brand marketing, she has award-winning experience and served as a conference speaker on crisis communications and issues management. Amy is passionate about public service and believes in the power of authentic communication to foster connection, build trust and strengthen communities. Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from California State University, San Marcos, a master’s degree in Strategic Communications from Liberty Baptist University, and has multiple crisis communication certifications.
