Armando is the Art Director at Kilter, a full-service branding agency specializing in nonprofit and public sectors. Recent public sector clients include Walnut Creek, Temple City, Glendale, and San Marino.
In his role as Art Director, he guides the design team in developing brands, campaigns, and systems people engage with and remember. His work has been recognized by CAPIO, The MarCom Awards, The Society of Typographics Arts and is included in the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's permanent collection. His writing has been published in IDEA Magazine.
Armando holds a BFA in graphic design from CalArts, where he has also taught. He loves reading and lecturing about the history of design, sharing books, and humming along to most songs.
