Are Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) hot topics at your place of work? Does it seem like DEI is part of every aspect of your job? Well, it should be! DEI is finally getting the recognition it deserves in organizations and cities across the nation. This workshop will cover the creation and implementation of an Ad hoc Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee; it’s progression to a standing committee; and its current goals and achievements to date. It will highlight best practices, challenges, reporting methodology, and future goals of diversity, equity, and inclusion for one of California’s largest and most inclusive cities.
