Ashley Humes has over a decade’s worth of experience working in all levels of government, in roles including: government administration, policy creation and implementation, public engagement, communications and marketing, public relations, and crisis communications and response.

Ashley is currently serving as the Public Information Officer for the County of Ventura Health Care Agency, and is a former city PIO and representative for a County Board Member.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from University of California, Los Angeles and a master’s in Public Policy and Administration from California Lutheran University.

Her passion is in helping to grow our next generation of public servants, as well as giving back and helping to shape her local community.

In addition to her volunteer work with the YMCA, she is an appointed member of the General Plan Advisory Committee for the City of Moorpark.
