Jayli Barkley became a member of the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office in 2018 after more than 10 years in the private and nonprofit sectors. She began as a Victim Services Supervisor, supporting staff who served victims and witnesses of crime through the criminal justice system.

In 2021, she transitioned to her current role as an Information Specialist, where she acts as the organization's facilitator for community engagement, public relations, program creation and facilitation, cultural involvement, and social media efforts in the Communications Division. She places a premium on employee customer service with the goal of engaging staff to amplify the office’s mission while generating innovative and cutting-edge content that fosters pride among their nearly 800 employees and resonates with the 2.5 million community members the office serves.

Jayli earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology and a concentration in Juvenile Justice from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
