Improving county services starts with understanding the needs of the community. Riverside County’s population is 52% Hispanic and at least 33% speak Spanish in the casa. Providing information in their native language is vital to increase civic participation in county government decision-making. Starting November 2023, the County of Riverside Board of Supervisors meetings, agendas and minutes are now available en español. This means our residents can watch, listen and read en español as they engage with county government through live interpretation. This inclusivity will increase access of county government to our Spanish speaking residents and ultimately improve services.
