Katherine Zackel has served in the FBI for 12 years in both San Francisco and Washington, DC. She specializes in crisis communications, issues management, and media relations. She is a member of the FBI’s Media Fly Team, which deploys to critical incidents around the country such as mass shootings, terrorist attacks, and national security events. Katherine is a certified instructor for the FBI on crisis communications and media relations. She has a master’s degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.
