In November 2012, Ms. Talbot joined the Regional Water Authority (RWA), a coalition of more than 20 water purveyors and associated agencies in the greater Sacramento Region. RWA’s mission is to serve, represent and align the interests of regional water providers and stakeholders for the purpose of improving water supply reliability, availability, quality, and affordability. At RWA, Amy is the manager of the Regional Water Efficiency Program’s award-winning public outreach campaign and school education program. She also oversees several grants that collectively provides $4.5 million for incentive programs to increase water use efficiency in the region. Amy held several active leadership roles during the recent Conservation Regulation development and regularly coordinated with urban water suppliers, statewide supplier organizations and committees, the Department of Water Resources and the State Water Resources Control Board.
