She began her career as a 911 dispatcher, where she developed a strong foundation in emergency response, communication under pressure, and compassion for the communities she serves.
Transitioning into her current role as a Public Safety Information Specialist with the Public Affairs and Community Education Bureau, Maggie now focuses on educating the public, strengthening community connections, and promoting fire prevention and safety initiatives throughout Riverside County. Her work plays a vital role in ensuring clear, accurate, and accessible information reaches the public when it matters most.
A lifelong lover of language, Maggie earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Arizona State University—skills she puts to daily use as the office’s de facto spelling and grammar authority.
