Jennifer (Jen) De Prez is the Community Information Officer for Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine. Previously she worked in the City of Long Beach's Office of Public Affairs and Communications where she supported with the City's public affairs and communications strategy and led media relations efforts. As part of this role, she delivered strategic counsel to City leadership and staff, notably developing the City's first on-camera media interview training for leadership. Having previously served as a PIO for the Long Beach Police Department, she understands the importance of credibility, fostering community trust and setting you and your leaders up for success on camera BEFORE a crisis hits.
