Bratton Riley is the Co-Founder and CEO of Citibot, a software company that enhances the civic engagement experience by connecting residents and their governments through Web Chat, SMS Chat and Messenger App Chat. Citibot is so grateful to be working with California cities like Oakland, Citrus Heights, Menifee, Fairfield as well as the Long Beach Transit System.

Bratton Riley was brought up in a family committed to public service and is enthusiastic for the betterment of our communities. As the son of longtime Charleston Mayor Joe Riley, Bratton brings a unique perspective to understanding issues facing local governments and the barriers of citizen communication. Citibot’s mission is for all residents, regardless of income, race, or native language, to have equal access to government while helping government save time and money through high quality AI chat experiences.

Bratton received a degree in history from the University of Virginia, as well as a JD as well as an MBA in International Business from the University of South Carolina. He is a Liberty Fellow; an incubator for exemplary leadership in South Carolina in conjunction with the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
