Jen Kansanback has more than 25 years of experience in government service. From the United States Navy to county and now local city, she has served various government levels. For the past 15 years, Jen has worked her way up in the City of American Canyon to the Communications Manager position, where she currently serves.

Her role allows her to partner with all of the organization's departments to support the City's outreach and communications strategies. Her true passion lies in helping community members find the information they need. She seeks out ways to communicate with and hear from citizens to effectively solve problems. This work unfolds through crisis communications, relationship-building, and implementing tools for streamlining the flow of information and services.
