Nichole Baxter is a Communications Officer for the City of Citrus Heights with over ten years of experience in public and private sector strategic communications.
In her role, Nichole collaborates with all of the city’s departments to create content, deliver compelling messages, and engage a community of nearly 90,000 residents and 2,260 businesses. She specializes in leveraging creative, emerging communication tactics to bolster public education, perception management, and civic engagement.
Nichole serves as President-Elect for the Public Relations Society of America California Capital Chapter and also manages Citrus Heights’ Communications Internship Program in cooperation with Sacramento State University.
Prior to working for the City of Citrus Heights, Nichole held a variety of communications and marketing roles in the health care, non-profit, publishing, and political sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an Emphasis in Public Relations and a Minor in Marketing from San Diego State University.
